The 7th annual MetaSource National Partner Conference took place from May 4-6. Dozens of resellers from around the country attended as did a large portion of the EMC Enterprise Content Division (ECD).

MetaSource State of the Union
Our president Adam Östhed addressed conference attendees, remarked on have tripled both annual revenues since 2007 and EMC ApplicationXtender (AX) product sales. Adam believes that our AX business is about half of what it could be, meaning that there is a lot more room to grow.

MetaStor 2.0
The latest version of MetaStor, our cloud version of ApplicationXtender, is now available and includes the following additions:
- Updated server support
- Enhanced client compatibility
- Web based administration
Captiva 7.5
The upcoming release of Captiva document scanning and capture software has lots of new features. Here’s a quick overview:
- Identification module replaces classification edit
- 64-bit server: not just for the user interface but also for batch processing
- Web client included
- RESTful services: full blown in this release

EMC Leap
EMC has developed a cloud software platform that includes the following:
- Snap: a cloud capture application that leverages EMC Captiva intellectual property
- Courier: allows you to exchange docs in a controlled fashion between you and other organization (e.g. mortgage origination)
- Focus: allows you to view Word documents cleanly on a mobile device by stripping out problematic formatting
- Express: allows you to approve documents in your workflow from your mobile device so you don’t have to connect via VPN or log onto your computer
- Concert: allows for real-time, dynamic collaboration in the cloud
